Are blood sugar supplements worth the money?
Blood sugar supplements are worth the money only if the benefit is real, and for most products it is unproven.
The ADA says supplements are not proven as an option for lowering blood glucose (ADA, Vitamins and supplements). Where a benefit shows up, it is small. A review of 27 green tea trials found fasting glucose fell by 1.44 mg/dL on average (Xu 2020, Green tea and glucose). Cost matters most when the upside is this narrow.

You get a small, hidden-dose formula, so check the label first.
The label lists 0.7 mcg of chromium. NIH describes a 2024 trial at 1,000 mcg a day that found no significant effect (NIH ODS, Chromium). The other 22 ingredients share a 200 mg blend with no single amount printed, so an even split would be about 9 mg each. The gymnema dose in trials is described as 400 mg three times a day (NIH LiverTox, Gymnema).

What is the cheapest way to try a supplement?
No cheap test exists for a blood sugar supplement. A short trial tells you little, since studies run weeks to months (Xu 2020, Green tea and glucose). Ask a clinician whether a lab test would show anything first.
Does a larger pack give better value?
