Can you trust blood sugar supplement reviews?
Not on their own, because fake and paid reviews look like real ones.
The FTC says you cannot assume you can spot the difference by looking. Watch for a burst of reviews in a short span and for accounts made to write one review (FTC, Evaluating online reviews). An FTC rule announced in August 2024 bans fake and undisclosed insider reviews (FTC, Fake reviews rule).

- Read the middle ratings first.
- Skip reviews that name medical results.
For health products the FTC adds that individual experiences are never enough to back a health claim (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance). A glowing story is a story, not a trial.

Does a scam warning online prove a product is a scam?
No. Fake negative reviews can also be posted, according to the FTC. Check dates, sources and the seller's terms before deciding.
