The Payarmin Proprietary Blend: What 200 mg Tells You

Quick answer

The Payarmin proprietary blend is 200 mg of 22 ingredients per 1 mL serving, listed from most to least by weight. Single amounts are hidden, but the order sets a ceiling: the ingredient in place k holds at most 200 divided by k milligrams. Evenly split, each would hold about 9 mg.

Definition01

What is a proprietary blend on a supplement label?

A proprietary blend is a group of ingredients listed under one total weight instead of separate amounts.

US rules let a label show the blend's total and its ingredients in descending order of weight, without each amount (eCFR, 21 CFR 101.36). Payarmin prints 200 mg for the whole blend of 22 ingredients in each 1 mL serving. That is the only dose figure for them.

The cost is that you cannot tell a useful dose from a token one.

The math02

What does the 200 mg total allow for each ingredient?

The order caps every line: the ingredient in place k cannot weigh more than 200 divided by k.

Why? Everything listed before it weighs at least as much. So k ingredients, each as heavy as the one in place k, add up to k times its weight. That sum cannot pass 200 mg.

Example: green tea is 7th, so it holds at most 200 / 7, about 29 mg. These are ceilings from label order, not lab results.

What it implies03

Does a low ceiling mean the blend does nothing?

No. A low ceiling shows the amount is small next to studied doses, not that it has no effect.

We found no trial of the finished drops. If maca takes a large share, the lines at the end of the list share what is left. Evenly split, each would hold about 9 mg.

The honest limit

We cannot say how much of any ingredient is in a bottle. No source we found lists it, and we will not guess.

Chromium sits outside the blend. Its 0.7 mcg is printed, and it is far below the 20 to 35 mcg adequate intake (NIH ODS, Chromium). Explore every ceiling with the ingredient guide.

Your move04

What can you ask a seller about a blend?

You can ask for amounts and a lab report, and a seller that has them can answer.

  1. Ask for single amounts

    Request milligrams per ingredient.

  2. Ask for a batch report

    Quote your lot number.

  3. Compare totals

If no answer comes, compare only totals.

Compare against the printed panel on the supplement facts page.

FAQ05

Payarmin proprietary blend questions

Is a proprietary blend a sign of a bad product?

Not by itself. Blends are legal and common. The concern is that the buyer cannot see single doses, so a good dose and a token dose look the same. A blend asks for more trust than a full disclosure does.

Which ingredient holds the most in the Payarmin blend?

Maca root extract, because it is listed first and the list runs from most to least by weight. Its amount is still unprinted, and it could be anywhere up to the 200 mg total.

Could the blend hold more than 200 mg of one ingredient?

No. The 200 mg is the combined weight of all 22 ingredients per 1 mL serving, so no single one can exceed it.

Is chromium counted inside the 200 mg?

No. Chromium has its own line at 0.7 mcg. The 200 mg covers the 22 blend ingredients only, so the formula has 23 lines in all.
